NYCFC Trade Patrick Mullins to DC United

It is reported by the Washington Post and other sources that NYCFC Forward, Patrick Mullins has been traded to DC United.

With many transfer rumors circulating around Mix Diskerud, and the recent surprise transaction involving Kwadwo Poku, it seems as though Patrick Mullins will find his new home in DC.  NYCFC are reported to have traded him for allocation money and an international spot.  DC also made a deal with the Vancouver Whitecaps to receive allocation money for Fabian Espindola.

Patrick Mullins made 7 appearances for NYCFC this season including 2 starts with no goals and 1 assist.

It is yet to be known how much allocation money will be earned by NYCFC but I’m sure we’ll find out soon. The main goal being achieved by Patrick Vieira being the international slot being acquired.
