Episode 82 – A Fitting Farewell?

Despite a few glimmers of hope, NYCFC’s 3rd season is officially over, but that doesn’t mean it was all for nothing. We get into why in Episode 82 of the Dudes in Blue.

Of course, we must go into the details of the 2nd leg of the Conference Semifinal against Columbus. Despite a positive performance by the team, they couldn’t muster up the final goal that would put them into the Finals. The crowd was great, we missed Yankee Stadium, and the game was a good one when taken out of context.

Then we touch on the final moments of the Maestro’s career. Andrea Pirlo is officially retired from soccer and we talk about him and the fans’ reactions to his career and his last kicks.

Finally, we talk a little transfer rumor surrounding Jack Harrison, contract expirations for MOST of the team, and look ahead to the last few goodies we have in store for you this year. Enjoy this one guys.
